Yokozaki Manufacturing Company was founded in 1963, when Japan started to catch up with the advanced countries in the world.

Ever since then we have endeavored to develop pioneering industrial products with our motto "We produce everything whenever and wherever there is a need for it".

Among many of our products Weighing and Sorting Machine for Mother-of-Peal Shells, which was developed in 1977, made our company widely known in Japan. In fact, the success of this machine enabled us to go into various kinds of fields.

At present we are extending our business activities beyound the boundary of Japan in the fields ranging from seafoods to agricultural products, dairy products and processed foods .

Our top priority in developing products is to produce goods that can be used as many people as possible. We do not think that there is much sense in producing devices with too many functions to be used in quest of high performance and efficiency. They can hardly be called labor-saving.. We always have one thing in mind in developing products: they can be used by the elderly with ease. We believe this is one good answer to the oncoming aging society.

December 1977	Yasuhiro Yokozaki started to produce and sell Weighing and Sorting Machines for Mother-of-Pearl Shells.
August 1982	Yokozaki Manufacturing Limited Private Company was established. The company sold machines through fishery cooperatives and pearl cooperatives in Ehime, Mie, Nagasaki, Saga and Kumamoto Prefectures.
April 1986	Marino Technology Company Ltd. was established as an entity for development and manufacture while Yokozaki Manufacturing Limited Private Company served as a sales company. Yasuhiro Yokozaki became President of both companies.
August 1986	Improvements were made on Weighing and Sorting Machines for Mother-of-Pearl Shells. The new machines, Weighing, Measuring and Sorting Machines for Food Products, started to be test marketed and received a huge response.
May 1987	Uwajima Branch Office was opened.
June 1989	Yokozaki Manufacturing Limited Private Company was converted to Yokozaki Manufacturing Company Limited.
August 1991	Electric Brushless Scale Remover was developed. It started to be sold to major supermarkets and many other stores.
December 1991	Electric Brushless Scale Remover was chosen as one of the seven unique products of the year 1991, sponsored by the Nippon Keizai Shimbun.
September 1993	Electronic "Speak" Weighing and Sorting Device was successfully developed. It was named Pea-chick Per-chick.
February 1994	Desktop "Speak" Weighing and Sorting Device was made waterproof and marketed for seafoods and food products.
February 1994	Sapporo Branch Office was opened in Ebetsu City, Hokkaido.
April 1995	Main factory was built on the Shigenobu Industrial Park.
March 1996	Uwajima Branch Office was newly opened.
February 1999	Head Office, Sales Department and General Affairs Department were moved to the Shigenobu Industrial Park.
August 2000	Computerized Sorting Machines started to be produced and marketed.
April 2002	Tokachi Branch Office was opened at Makubetsucho, Hokkaido.
June 2003	Sapporo Branch Office was newly opened in the Ebetsu City Industrial Park.
April 2004	Our ”Invention of Devices for Improving Efficiency of Sorting Frozen Shellfishes” was given ”Ingenious Innovator Award” ,sponsored by Education and Science Ministry.
April 2005	Our ”Invention of Devices for Improving Efficiency of Sorting Fresh Scallops” was given ”Ingenious Innovator Award” ,sponsored by Education & Science Ministry.
February 2006	Shape-Recognition-by-Camera Device for Fresh Mashrooms was developed and marketed.
April 2006	Keyboard-Style Image Processing and Sorting Machine was developed and marketed.
Decembe, 2006	Our company was given Governor's Award for Weighing and Sorting Machine DL Type in "NEXT ONE", the Second Matsuyama-Brand New Products Contest.
February 2007	Weighing, Measuring and Sorting Machine for Fresh Eels was developed and marketed.
June 2007	Weighing, Measuring and Sorting Machine for Fresh Bonitoes was developed and marketed.
June 2008	Our company was chosen as one of "300 Progressive S&M Enterprises", sponsored by S&M Enterprise Agency, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
